Peace And Pasta started out as a signing off in emails between a friend of Under the Tuscan Gun and myself. It was the way we said good bye. Little did I know, years later it would come to mean so much more than that. When I went into production withExtra Virgin a few years back, I wasn’t allowed to wear any branded t-shirts unless it was approved by the Network. This sparked the idea to create my own line of tees and the first thing that came to mind when trying to decide on a tagline was “Peace And Pasta”. True, it’s catchy, but like most of my t-shirts, the design is created to mean something more than just attract the eye with cool graphics and designs. To me, Peace And Pasta has come to be the mantra of my life. This is my version of the ol’ saying “peace and love.” For me, peace and happiness comes from sitting around a table with good food and even better with family and friends. And like a true Italian, most of my favorite dishes involve pasta. So there you have it, Peace And Pasta, for all!
